PRISM-backed Sunday Proptech, also known as Oyo Assets, has raised Rs 125 crore in fresh equity funding to speed up its hotel acquisition plans across India. The fundraising comes as the company sharpens its focus on building a scaled portfolio of premium and mid-premium hotels in key leisure and business destinations.
The capital infusion strengthens Sunday Proptech’s position as an asset-focused hospitality investment platform which operates within PRISM’s broader ecosystem of hotel brands and technology-driven operations.
Funding Round Led by InCred
The Rs 125 crore funding round was led by InCred, with participation from a mix of institutional and private investors. The latest raise follows an earlier Rs 50 crore investment in 2025 by an InCred and Analah-led consortium, signalling continued investor confidence in the company’s asset-led hospitality strategy.
Sunday Proptech serves as PRISM’s asset ownership and investment platform, acquiring hotel properties while PRISM manages day-to-day operations through its established brands. As consolidation accelerates in India’s hotel industry, the new funding enables the company to move more quickly on potential acquisitions and secure attractive assets at the right time.
Focus on Acquiring 12 Hotels
The company plans to deploy the newly raised capital primarily toward acquiring 12 hotels over the current and upcoming financial year. These acquisitions will be concentrated in the premium and mid-premium segments, which continue to see strong demand from both leisure and business travellers.
According to reports, around seven of these hotel deals are already in advanced stages of negotiation, indicating a well-developed acquisition pipeline. The properties are expected to operate under PRISM brands such as Sunday Hotels, Palette Hotels and Townhouse, creating a unified and tech-enabled portfolio.
Business Model and Strategy
Sunday Proptech follows a hybrid investment model that combines ownership or long-term control of hotel assets with management contracts, which limit upfront capital requirements. Investors have cited stable cash flows and improving unit-level profitability as the key drivers behind the fundraise. The company is targeting an EBITDA of approximately Rs 42 crore in FY26, with expectations of nearly tripling this figure by FY27 through acquisitions and operational improvements.

Financial Outlook
The fundraiser comes at a time when demand for branded hotel rooms in India is rising sharply. Increasing renovation costs and shifting consumer preferences are prompting many independent hotel owners to explore asset sales or brand partnerships.
With fresh capital and a visible pipeline of deals, Sunday Proptech is well-positioned to play a significant role in the ongoing consolidation of India’s hospitality real estate market.
