Capgemini has announced the establishment of a new and first-of-its-kind Center of Excellence (CoE) that will skill its workforce in emerging technologies in Uttar Pradesh. It has partnered with Noida Special Economic Zone (NSEZ) to develop an integrated CoE that will help the unemployed youth as it will offer them training in emerging technologies.
How Will Capgemini Address The Skill Gap?
The latest advancements in emerging technologies such as generative AI, machine learning, robotics, fintech, etc. have created a significant skills gap in the Indian workforce. This integrated center aims to bridge this gap and ensure its workforce has the necessary skills to tackle the digital age challenges. Capgemini's new CoE in Noida, Uttar Pradesh will house classrooms, a computer lab, a counseling area, and a STEM lab with coding, tinkering, and robotics facilities.

More upskilling opportunities will be provided in the field of specialized areas such as Java, Data Analytics, SAP, and BFSI for the banking and IT industries.

- Mentorship and coaching: The CoE will provide personalized mentorship and coaching to help the employees navigate their career development and skill-building journeys. They will also be offered entrepreneurship support to further ideate and innovate.
